OUR VISION

“To raise the quality of life of the mentally and physically retarded, old aged and depressed people of every caste and religion, creating an environment conducive to their physical, mental and spiritual growth in a holistic manner, to enable them as far as possible to become self reliant and their integration within the existing social structure. “

Seon Ashram, a residential and rehabilitative center for the mentally ill was founded by Mr. U. C. Paulose in the year 1999. The Ashram today provides care, shelter, food, clothing medicare etc., to the mentally ill. aged destitute, widows, orphaned and needy children, physically challenged and rape victims. The ashram has been a recipient of numerous awards in recognition of its services from the Central and State Governments and other Public institutions. The ashram is now a home to 430 residents. Among them 100 are mentally ill, 84 are aged destitutes, 156 are Mentally Challenged men/women, 90 are orphan children.

NEW ADMISSION

On 3rd June 2009, somebody had seen a girl in Dharmastala. On the next day some social workers brought her to our Ashram.

She is about 8 years old. She is black in look & handicapped. She can not walk & talk. We admitted her on 4th June in our Ashram.
